Nathan and I were on the Events team at IBM Blue Studio for a number of years. Nathan is very talented in motion graphics, video and 3D. He’s a patient teacher, he has a great attitude—even with tight deadlines and major pressure—and best of all, he’s a pleasure to work with and be around. He always made time for me and my motion design questions, which I really appreciate.

He started and led the IBM 3D Guild, and it was fun seeing the creations Nathan and the rest of the participants came up with and the explanations and teachings behind them.

Nathan is one of a few Coffee Talk All-Stars, someone who consistently showed up to the very informal and optional biweekly Coffee Talks our team had where we talked about whatever we wanted.

Whoever is fortunate enough to hire Nathan will be very lucky.

I had the pleasure of working with Nathan at IBM and know him to be a creative and innovative team player. During our time together, Nathan proactively pursued various training to further his creative and tech skills. We applied these directly to several key projects our team was tasked with, and they ultimately exceeded IBM's benchmarks for social and digital marketing performance. His perseverance in overcoming any hiccup or obstacle helped us bring several key projects to fruition.

Beyond his immense design and creative skills, Nathan is just a good human. He is compassionate with his teammates, collaborates well, and never hesitates to offer help or mentorship to anyone he works with.
I worked with Nathan on IBM’s Blue Studio events team. The team handles IBM’s world-class events, think and TechXchange, as well as multiple interactive projects throughout the year. Nathan is not only the best motion graphics designer that I’ve ever worked with, but he is also the most collaborative. He is a natural leader and his ability to create high-end communications on time, even when the timeline was challenging, is truly amazing. In addition to Nathan’s talent, his passion for 3D and motion graphics led him to start a 3D Guild at IBM to share his knowledge and grow the team’s skillset. Nathan would be a valuable addition to any creative team, and would quickly become an invaluable part of the team.
Nathan is a gem you can't afford to pass up. Not only is his creativity beyond what most people can even dream of, his skills are top-notch. He approaches every project with optimism, an open mind, and a can-do attitude -- and then goes on to pull off the impossible, all with a smile on his face. His working relationships are collaborative and contribute to team-wide success, often offering insights well beyond his scope. I can't recommend Nathan enough, and I'm grateful for having had the opportunity to work with him.
I worked with Nathan on several projects. His ability to go beyond the paper requirements to bring forth an art of the possible you didn't even know you wanted until he showed you is second to none. He is a go getter, team player. A complete gent. The way he innovates, and amplifies creative solutions means working with him on projects is not only fun, but becomes a master class on inter team deliverables. Everyone on my team loved when Nathan demoed his creations. Folks on my team were proud to have you on the team.
Nathan is more than a graphical genius, a technical wizard, and a workhorse of productivity. Nathan is also a true creative partner. Whatever idea you have for a campaign, or an interactive program, Nathan’s view askew of the world will give it that extra life to truly grab an audience and make them engage.

To say I recommend Nathan would be an understatement. I can say with the utmost confidence, any organization would be fortunate to have him among their ranks.
Working alongside Nathan for the last few years has been an absolute honor. Not only is he an insanely talented artist with elite creative vision, but he truly elevates everyone he works with. Nathan has an incredible thirst for learning the latest technology, always staying ahead of trends and finding new ways to push creative boundaries. What makes it even better is how generously he shares that knowledge, mentoring junior designers and his peers by helping them grow with the same enthusiasm he brings to every project. Nathan is that rare unicorn that combines discipline, dedication, leadership, creativity and organization into every job he works on. I feel lucky to call Nathan both a great coworker and a friend.
